REGISTER NOWHOW WE TRAIN
DIRECTOR-LED TRAININGS
Director-Led Trainings are high-level, college-style sessions designed and run by our top staff, including current and former college coaches and players.
Athletes train by age group, not just team, ensuring higher reps, faster pace, and exposure to multiple coaching voices throughout the year.
These sessions emphasize skill execution, decision-making, pace of play, and lacrosse IQ — preparing athletes for the expectations of the next level.
MANDATORY TEAM CAMPS
Team Camps are a core part of how we build elite teams. Because our athletes come from across the region and beyond, traditional weeknight practices alone are not enough to build chemistry and efficiency.
Team Camps bring the entire roster together for extended sessions that equal multiple practices in one day, focusing on team systems, communication, situational play, and strategy.
This model respects family travel while maximizing development, chemistry, and accountability across the team.
PRE-TOURNAMENT PRACTICES
Pre-Tournament Practices are an intentional design choice that separates our program from traditional clubs.
Since teams are already traveling, we host a full team practice the evening before competition — often at a local college campus or top-tier facility.
These sessions allow us to align expectations, review game plans, clarify roles, and ensure every athlete is prepared and unified heading into competition.

Policies & Expectations
Attendance & Commitment Expectations
Team Carolina operates on a high-commitment model. All Team Camps, Pre-Tournament Practices, and Tournaments are mandatory unless excused by the Program Director. These events are essential to development, chemistry, and recruiting exposure.
Practice Model & Travel Expectations
Due to the geographic reach of our rosters, traditional weeknight-only practices are not sufficient. Our Team Camp and Pre-Tournament Practice model ensures maximum attendance and intentional preparation. Families should expect regular travel for tournaments and events.
Communication Expectations
All primary communication is sent via email and TeamSnap. Families are responsible for monitoring updates, schedules, and travel information. Questions should be directed to the Program Director or Team Manager, not individual coaches during events.
Uniform & Equipment Policy
New players are required to purchase the official Team Carolina uniform kit separately. Uniforms are custom ordered and shipped directly to families. Returning players may reuse prior kits if approved by staff.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of travel team planning, staffing, field rentals, league fees, training blocks, and tournament commitments, all registrations are non-refundable.
By accepting a roster spot, families are claiming a limited position on the team and committing to the full seasonal and financial obligation. This commitment allows us to properly plan coaching assignments, training schedules, and competitive opportunities.
Once a roster spot is accepted:
- No refunds will be issued for any reason
- Leaving the team early does not release the financial obligation
- Missed sessions, injuries, scheduling conflicts, or changes in availability do not qualify for refunds
This policy ensures stability and fairness for all athletes, families, and staff. If a family anticipates potential conflicts, we strongly encourage discussing them before accepting a roster spot.
College Exposure Disclaimer
While Team Carolina provides elite-level exposure and support, college recruitment is never guaranteed. Our role is to prepare, support, and advocate for athletes throughout the process.
