Players must be registered by December 25 to guarantee participation in the league. Players registering after this date will be placed on a waitlist and accepted as if space allows .

Our mission is to provide a fun, affordable, community-rooted lacrosse option that builds strong middle school and high school programs locally by keeping players developing in their own backyard.

Our Development Approach

CLA practices focus on skill development, confidence, and fun over plays and systems. We use a station-based training model run by CLA staff, followed by team-specific periods.

At this age, development and enjoyment matter more than plays. Players rotate positions every 5 minutes in games to ensure equal learning across offense, defense, and transition.

We reserve the right to adjust division formats based on registration numbers to ensure the best developmental experience.

Tiny Tomahawks K-1st

Tiny Tomahawks is our StartLax program in CLA South. This is our fun, low-pressure introduction to lacrosse. No pads required. We provide sticks (or players may bring their own), soft balls, and mini goals. Players rotate positions every few minutes to build confidence and game awareness. This was our top-rated START program last Fall — fun, friends, and fast-paced play.
