CLA North is the home for lacrosse in the Huntersville and Lake Norman communities. We proudly serve families in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Denver, Lake Norman, Mountain Island Lake, the University Area (UNCC/University City/Concord Mills), Concord, and Lincolnton.

Our programs are built for boys and girls of every age and skill level, with opportunities in every season. From first-time players learning the game, to athletes competing in local leagues, to those preparing for year-round travel teams, CLA North provides a complete pathway for development and competition.

FALL 2025 PROGRAMS

  • The perfect first step for players brand new to the sport.

    CLA Start offers free clinics and beginner-focused 3v3 clinics where boys and girls learn the basics in a fun, supportive environment.

    No experience or equipment required — just energy and excitement to try something new.

    Fall 2025 Offerings:

  • For players who want to develop skills, build confidence, and compete locally.

    CLA Play includes seasonal leagues, academies, and box programs for boys and girls that give athletes more touches, better fundamentals, and fun competition without the year-round travel commitment.

    Fall 2025 Programs:

  • For advanced players ready for higher-level training and tournaments.

    CLA Charlotte offers travel team options for Boys and Girls.

    These teams compete regionally and nationally, train year-round, and provide a direct path toward elite development and college recruiting.

  • CLA Select Programs are application-based teams open to all players, regardless of club affiliation. These programs bring together motivated athletes from across the Carolinas to compete in exclusive tournaments and showcase events.

    Carolina Gold (boys) and Southern Stars (girls) provide an additional, flexible opportunity designed to enhance each player’s development and exposure — without replacing their year-round team experience.
